• Giannis, Gobert lead All-Defensive Team



The NBA officially announced the list of the best defensive lineup for the 2018-19 season. Giannis, Gobert, George, Smart and Bledsoe were selected for the first round of the All-Defensive team. Enbid, Leonard, Clay Thompson, Draymond Green and Holliday were the best. The defensive lineup is second.

In this season's All-Defensive team's selection, Jazz center Gobert scored the highest score. He won 97 first votes and 2 second votes, with a total score of 196 points. This season, Gobert averaged 12.9 rebounds per game, ranking fourth in the league, averaging 2.31 blocks per game, ranking third in the league, and his Jazz defensive efficiency ranked second in the league.

Gobert is the winner of last season's Best Defensive Player Award and he remains a strong contender for this season. This is the third time that Gobert has been selected for the best defensive career.

The Bucks are the league's defensive efficiency team in the regular season. The team's letter brothers and Bledsoe were selected for the first volleyball team. The letter brother won 94 first votes and 5 second votes, with a total score of 193 points. Bledsoe won 36 first votes and 28 second votes with a total score of 100 points.

Thunder's George is averaging 2.21 steals per game this season, ranking first in the league. In the selection of the best defensive lineup, George won 96 first votes, 3 second votes, and a total score of 195 points.

Celtic defender Smart received 63 first and 19 second votes. He scored 145 points, the first time in his career to be named to the All-Defensive team.

In the second round of the All-Defensive squad, Warriors double star Thompson and Green joined forces. Thompson won 23 first votes and 36 second votes, with a total score of 82 points, which is the first time in his career to enter the best defensive lineup. Green won 2 first and 57 second votes, with a total score of 61 points and his fifth consecutive career in the All-Defensive team.

Leonard, the winner of the two-time defensive player award, won only five first votes and 29 second votes in this selection, but he still scored 39 points for the second best defensive team. Like Green, he is the 5th time to enter the All-Defensive team.

76-man center Enbid scored 4 first votes and 72 second votes in the selection, with a total score of 80 points. The point guard Holliday got 31 first votes and 28 second votes. For 90 points, they are the second time in their career to be named to the All-Defensive team.
